MC for 3 more days.. yahoo!
But Dr Faridah said if I still bleeds on Thursday, I'm going to the hospital
But I still get my cuti.. yahoo!!!
KENAPA AKU DIUJI?

Surah Al-Baqarah ayat 286

RASA FRUST?

"Janganlah kamu bersikap lemah, dan janganlah pula kamu bersedih hati, padahal kamulah org2 yg paling tinggi darjatnya, jika kamu orang-orang yg beriman."
Surah Al-Imran ayat 139

Hanya kepadaNya aku bertawakkal."
Surah At-Taubah ayat 129

AKU DAH TAK DAPAT BERTAHAN LAGI!!!!!

"... ..dan jgnlah kamu berputus asa drp rahmat Allah. Sesungguhnya tiada berputus asa dari rahmat Allah melainkan kaum yg kafir."
Surah Yusuf ayat 12

Anyway, just received Mamak and Zarid's nuptial card. Freshly delivered by the bride groom-to-be himself. Thinking to go for his a'qad nikah *just to have fun seeing him sweating*.
Also meet Munir and at last, seeing Rafique. I haven't talk to Rafique much, seems like a lifetime ago because he always have outside works.
Insya' Allah will be going to Zarid's house on 4 April [nice date: 04.04.04]

Disclaimer:
Every people that I mentioned here were met by me personally and even was made known to the fact that I didn't like him/her at a certain point. No offense.. Many people have already blacklisted me, I think the visitor is just another person who just expressed their own feeling here. I suggest you open a personal blog

Maybe if the visitor reads Taiko's Sedetik Kupejamkan Mata, he/she has much more to say :)

On MC for 2 days after the fire drill. OK, I bleeds 4 days in a row. If I am bleeding today, have to obtain a referral letter to be admitted to the hospital. Can I bring Amni along if I was admitted to the hospital? Anyway, I think Amni wouldn't mind sleeping with me on the hospital's bed. Being in the hospital is quiet good for me as a change. I need THE break!

Just cleaned up our home's wastebasket this morning. About 70% of it was full of Amni's Pureen Basic diapers. Our household rubbish consist only 30%. Yeah, we have to change her diapers quite often

Remembered Nazri just now. This is one guy that you really were amazed on how he studied. Really a top scorer. And the funny part is, his pre-university course is not Pre-U Management but Pre-U MAS (now known as Alpha FCM).

Dia ni satu kelas dengan aku masa kitaorang first year Accounting. Kitaorang pun cam blur-blur je camne mamat ni tetiba masuk kelas Accounting. Sebab seingat aku [sebagai jiran dia kat Taman Dahlia], dia ni top scorer MAS. So cam terbangak jugak la bila tiba-tiba nampak die ke hulu ke hilir ngan kiteorang masuk kelas belajar topik-topik course aku. So nak dijadikan ceritalah, dia ni memang rajin betul lah study. Kalau tengok notes dia, siap boleh buat graf lah, garis la, macam-macam warna kat notes dia. Masa test pun dia score terbangak tak ingat dunia punye.. [bear in mind: he is not from Pre-U Mgmt].

Cuma sekarang, alhamdulillah lah, aku ngan Nisa' dah tak bising-bising dah.. Fikri dah insaf. Sekarang dia dah sambung belajar kat Australia.

That sets me thinking: Cleverness is a gift, I suppose.

P/S: Tapi ada gak ex-bf aku yang aku panggil nerd abis.. belajar je sampai tak ingat dunia. Tak aktif apa-apa langsung. Tak ada social life pun. Dah jadi tutor kat Cyberjaya. Dan aku ingat lagi, masa bercouple ngan dia.. keep measuring our life success in terms of GPA -I assure you, that is not a good measurement. Farid, ko kenal ex-bf aku, kan?... hahahaha

and they burnt down our mosque [1]
and they burnt down our mosque [2]

A mosque in the centre of Nis was set on fire by Serbians

Further to my pilihanraya post, I think, any party in any country shouldn't have majority of 3/4. There should be a check and balance system between parties. At least we have a mix of government. From Malaysian people understanding, the government is always referred to Barisan Nasional while the opposition is always referred to PAS, keADILan and DAP.

OK, from my understanding [as I have studied Malaysian Studies before in my university years.. seems like ages ago], as from Malaysia constituency, after the Prime Minister declared for election, there is no PM, TPM, ministers etc. From the constituency, it is stated that the country's head during an election is Ketua Hakim Negara. And all the parties that is in for the election should be referred to parties, not government or opposition since each party has an equal chance of winning. Actually, when someone referred Pak Lah as PM during the campaigning process after Parliament has been dissolved, the idea is not right. But, the media also give a strong presence for the BN until it has been implemented in each and every Malaysian's mind that BN is the government- not other party, only BN. I heard some makciks and pakciks have the perception if BN is not the ruling party, there will be no basic utilities such as water and electricity. In this case, the perception is wrong, since every person who is elected to build up the government will have the responsibility of providing utilities for the people.

So, a balance of parties in the Malaysian government is really important.. in this case, the other representative elected can check whether the mentioned representative has done their duties well or not. There should also be comments and suggestions from every side as to improve the government. If a party such as BN has the 3/4 majority, they might not really see and understand the peoples' need. A well proportioned and mixed government is needed to open the eyes of the wakil rakyat. At least, the complaints do not fall on deaf ears anymore.

++ Just my 2 cents worth - a check and balance government ;)

Trying day for many
by: Marhalim Abas

GOMBAK: It was 3pm. Like many others at Sekolah Menengah Taman Sri Gombak in Greenwood here yesterday, I had run out of patience.

I had been queuing up at the polling station for the Gombak Parliamentary seat and Gombak Setia State seat in Selangor for more than three hours and I still could not find the room at the school where I was supposed to cast my vote.

Many left in frustration but I tried my best to remain calm and checked the five classrooms allotted to voters.

Some of the voters were agitated by the long wait and voiced their frustations aloud. However, the cooler heads prevailed and the shouts faded.

Many male voters had refrained from smoking but after a while, cigarette butts littered the school compound.

When I arrived about 11am, I was surprised to see a large number of voters still at the school.

In the 1999 general election, I went to the same polling station about the same time, and in less than 10 minutes I had cast my vote.

This time around, many voters who came as early as 8am, still could not get to vote.

None of the Election Commission staff were around to help except for those in the voting room.

Voters swarmed police personnel guarding the school but they could not do anything.

Pas' Gombak Parliamentary candidate Dr Hatta Mohd Ramli, who came to the polling station to see the situation, was at a loss when voters asked him for an explanation.

Dr Hatta told The Malay Mail that the same problem had cropped up at the nearby Sekolah Rendah Taman Sri Gombak polling station and, he claimed, it resulted in a fist-fight.

After two hours of waiting with other voters, I decided to try my luck and queued up with others at door number 2.

It took me nearly 30 minutes to get into the voting room. However, when they checked my identity card, my name was not on the list.

The clerk asked me to check with the other voting rooms.

Room No 5 was out of the question, as the line was as long as the eye could see.

So I went to room No 1. After waiting for about 20 minutes, the policeman told us that those born between 1950 and 1959 were supposed to vote there.

With that, most of us went to the other voting rooms but with long queues there, I decided to wait near the canteen.

By 3pm, with more voters streaming in and the queues getting longer, I decided to leave.

At 5pm, my hopes were buoyed when a colleague informed me that polling at my constituency had been extended to 7pm.

I arrived at the same polling station about half-an-hour later. But after checking at two more rooms, the clerks told me I was not on the electoral rolls.

Finally, it dawned on me. The EC must have moved me to another polling station, although its website and SMS service stated that I was supposed to vote at Sekolah Menengah Taman Sri Gombak.

Checks with the BN and Pas booths confirmed that. But by then I no longer had the patience nor the energy to drive to the next housing estate where there were two polling stations at Sekolah Rendah Taman Sri Gombak and Sekolah Menengah Hillcrest.

I might have been able to vote there but what if my name was again missing from the electrol rolls there? As I drove away from Gombak, the television jingle produced by ntv7 played on my mind: "Choose to feel good, choose to vote." Unfortunately, what would have been my second time as a voter turned out to be a "bad voting day" for me. Here's hoping that your's turned out better.
Aku ingat malas nak cerita pasal Election kali ni. Tapi aku nak cerita gak sebab dah terkena kat family aku sendiri. Jom tengok senario kat Gombak - kawasan aku mengundi.. firstly, ummi aku kena.. nama dia langsung tak ada di mana-mana 3 pusat sekolah pembuangan undi. Wah, ni dah cukup hebat.. jentera SPR slashkan nama ummi aku sebab dia sokong BA! Opportunity lost, ummi aku cakap, terkedu nak tunggu lagi 5 tahun nak pilih pemimpin baru. Silapnya kat mana ya? Delaying tactics by SPR aku rasa..

Payahnya, masya Allah.. 2 jam beratur nak mengundi. Aku pun terfikir, agaknya padanlah ramai tak turun mengundi..[masa tu, tak tahu lagi ada delaying tactic by SPR untuk menangkan calon BN]. Balik dekat pukul 12 t'hari tu, aku cakap kat ummi beratur line mana kat Hillcrest. Ummi turun bawah pulak.. beratur 2 jam, tup tup tak de nama jugak.. sekarang ni aku dah start musykil. Ummi aku pergi cek kat pondok panas PAS nama dia, petugas PAS cakap nama mak aku ada kat SRK Sri Gombak (2) as confirmed by SPR -ada list baru kononnya. So rugilah satu undi.. macam-macam senario ummi aku hadapi, demi kedegilan orang SPR..

Senario 1
Ummi aku: Tumpang tanya dik, siapa officer in charge SPR kat kawasan Gombak ni?
SPR : Tak tahu
Ummi aku: Akak tumpang tanya ja, suruh tunjuk yang mana pegawai yang in charge, nak ceritakan masalah akak
SPR : Tak tahu, akak carilah sendiri
Abang 1 : Wah, kita bayar gaji takkan tak reti nak tunjuk yang mana.

Senario 2
SPR : Pakcik takde nama, tak payahlah mengundi
Apek Cina: What the h*** are you talking about? I voted for BN last 3 elections, now I know who should I vote the next coming election

++ Haha, insaf gak pakcik Cina ni nak vote BA akhirnya gara-gara ketakmaluan SPR mengdelete nama dia

Senario 3
Abang jual ikan: Saya tahu saya nampak kotor, saya jual ikan. Tapi saya graduate. Saya bukan macam orang kampung, bila cakap tak ada nama, tak payah mengundi. Saya tahu hak saya.

Pegawai SPR tu macam memproteslah kononnya, blah meninggalkan tempat tu.

Senario 4
Pakcik India: Aiyo, pondok BN banyak besar, cek nama manual saja. Pondok PAS banyak kicik, cek nama pakai laptop lagi..

Kesian pakcik India ni, Sabtu lepas dia kata dia cek kat Internet, nama die kat SM Hillcrest. Pastu tak ada, die balik print semalam kat SRK Gombak (2) pula.. still panas dari printer, tapi nama dia tak ada kat mana-mana list SPR.

Senario 5
Ummi aku: [sambil tunjuk maklumat pengundian print from Internet] Nama akak ada ni, sapa buat list ni? Kenapa berbeza dengan list yang baru?
SPR : Agaknya akak buat sendiri kot.
Abang 2 : Takkan la akak ni nak buat sendiri- siap dengan logo SPR lagi cetak atas kertas.

Banyak lagi senario kat atas ni yang mak aku citer, tapi tulis ni tak feel sangat.. nanti kalu aku ada masa, aku tulis lagi. BN menang besar kat Gombak! Wah wah, bangga tak menang tanpa penuh tak malunya dengan tebal muka? Teluskah SPR macam ni?

Aku ni bukanlah nak marah sangat... kalu betul pilihanraya tu telus, BN menang pun aku tak kisah.. at least we know that is the people's choice. kalau dah buat discrimination macam ni.. macammana kita nak lihat betul-betul Peoples' Voice?

Sila check Lynn's comments pasal pilihanraya jugak -> klik sini
I was so frustrated the way SPR handled this.

Went to the clinic just now. The doctor didn't give me MC [as I hoped!]. While waiting for the ubats, I saw other products the clinic are selling.. They have folic acid, Vitamin C, Weight Loss, Multivitamin, Sebamed etc. And I also saw a sperm enhancer kit [hehe... who is buying that?], ovulation test, fertility ubats and Mercilon! Wa.. much cheaper down here.. a pack costs me about RM20. Maybe will buy Mercilon here rather than going all the way to Ampang Puteri. I got medication for flu. The doctor said those ubats will make me sleepy, better eat now.. I can sleep in the office somehow :P

I catch flu from Amni last Monday and it just keep worsening. I think I have to go to clinic after this. Maybe I can get MC.. who knows.. hehehe

Went to Tabung Haji this morning. Deposited some money for my own self and abah Amni. We opened a Tabung Haji account for Amni also. She received RM 500+ for her duit raya last year. Lucky girl! I will start depositing money monthly in her and abang's account.

We also registered for the hajj queue and target on 2007 to go to Mecca for pilgrimage. By that time, Amni is like 5 years old.. still a toddler. So I think it's not hard to leave her -since she's not in her primary school yet. The officer has already asked us to go for a hajj course this coming May.. Well, I'm not sure about it yet.. maybe we will be doing it like in the next 2 years for the course.

+Another note to add: I haven't started eating Mercilon yet.. maybe later will tell the usage of it [as I have promised earliler]

This activity is Amni's favourite: sucking fingers

Okla.. today and last night were really my hectic days. The subsidiaries are submitting tender which the dateline is at 12.00 p.m. today. I have to pack all the boxes and burn the CDs-thanks to my hubby and rushed all the way to Cyberjaya to make it on time before the date and timeline. My boss called yesterday, and all the worst possible things that could happen, happen to us.. the CD writer cannot be used, the company's stamp had to be rushed, the people are staying back to help us. And even my boss asked me to come to the office last night -if worse come to worse. Well, if I did come last night, I think I will bring Amni along- at least she can see how my office looks like.

Yak yak.. have you guys ever glimpse tonnes and tonnes of money in briefcase? I thought it only happen in movies [where usually, the gangster will buy drugs -bring the cash in the briefcase- and open the briefcase in front of other people- as a proof that the money is real].

But to be honest, when I was studying in Kelantan, I never asked what my father put in his briefcase. After all, you see, it's just a simple briefcase- brown in colour, old.. worn.. and usually, if I did see the inside of it, it will be only office documents -oh, I am so bored to death. So when ayah called and said he wants to meet me one afternoon -he always travel back and forth alone- I just got excited -because usually ayah give money for me and Aini to spend [that's what father are supposed to do, right?]. So we just chat a little with ayah, and he opened his briefcase, and we were like.. open our mouth in a really big OOOOO.. because there are like a lot of money inside with RM 100 notes each of them and even tell us to take some [jokingly!]. The briefcase is just so full of money.

So, being an honest person.. like father, like daughter lah.. we were like still astounded with the money effect and refused to take it.. Chewah.. So I think, Aini do clearly remember this [Aini, you better remember it.. :P]

But I think Uncle Z really appreciates ayah, because of his honesty and he knows that ayah will not even take a single note from THAT briefcase. Sure! And I was talking about this when everyone is talking about corruption.. hahaha

Semalam, suami cakap muak makan nasi.

Hahah, dah nyanyuk ->of course lah nyanyuk if jaga 4 companies at the same time! Hahahah

Semalam pergi kenduri sebelah Kamil pulak. Agaknya lepas Munirah kahwin ni, dia nak try close the gap between us. Aku rasa Amni dah macam satu topik untuk ice breaking antara aku dgn Munirah. Yelah, aku dengan dia pun baru jadi sepupu masa kitaorang form 4. Semalam masa berkumpul kat rumah Cik Yah pun, Munirah dukung Amni.

Lepas jaga Amni, sambil join Mak Su dgn Kak Ida [makcik aku dgn sepupu aku: both of them ada anak same age dengan Amni - Yasmin dan Izzat] aku makan kat meja pengantin. Munirah offer kat aku macam-macam lauk. Masa aku join balik geng mommies pun, Munirah mintakan Nazeha (adik Munirah) ambil gambar dengan aku. Lepas tu, dia bagi buah tangan pengantin kat aku -sampai jealous saudara-saudara aku.. Hahaha

Anyway, aku rasa Munirah pun nak cuba rapat balik dengan kitaorang and accept us as her cousins [yang kononnya, macam dah lama].

Congratulations Munirah and Kamil, moga di bawah lembayung lindungan Allah senantiasa

Semalam pun, masa naik jambatan ke rumah Kamil, aku nampak budak-budak tengah gantung bendera PAS. Tiba-tiba, terbuka cerita pasal ayah. Pergi berkempen pun calon PAS pakai duit sendiri. Mungkin sebab tu, ayah sokong barisan alternatif [anything but not BN].

What she is busy with? I need to file properly. She cannot just submit like this... at least in word or excel. This is for audit and record puprposes.

E-mail 2:
I thought I have given the proper BP sheet for yr filing. Btw, this simple calculation can be done by yourselves. Too simple for [toot] or for me to formulate assets in word or excels. In fact [toot] has explained to u earlier. Anyway, fyi, [toot] is supporting the [18 SG] and [toot] is assisting me on the follow up with [toot] when she was covering [toot] during her maternity leave. Mind u, it is always a problem with [toot] when we want to have info, never come accurate the first time and always need a follow-up. I think is not right for u to question for what people is busy at! At times, we need to look at ourselves what we are busy at so that we can always improve ourselves!

Thanks

Reply to e-mail 2:
You are not supporting enough! Just simple thing like this you can't talk to you subordinate to come out with propoer work. How do she file thigs that she submitted to me if the output is like that? You have 3 peoples working under you and you should manage them properly. I thought I can talk to the boss and boss and give advice but it will make things messier. Remember that I have to work out many things here alone.

E-mail 3:
[Toot],
I think I have supported you enough. If you feel that is still not to your satisfaction and I can manage them properly, pls feel free to comminucate direct to them! Good Luck!!!
Thanks.

E-mail 4:
Dear [toot],

U just wan to know a cost of one eqpt. and u wan to have in excel / words format? As far as I know for the auditing record purposes, your [toot] asset shall have a receipt and support docs. (if more than $$$ depends on your [toot] policy) but not in excel/words format.

However, since this asset is transferred from [toot] to [toot], the agreement must be contracted bet. the two which is still in process by [toot].

Dear all,

I wld like to propose that anything related to [toot] shall be passed thro' [toot] in order to ensure that he has a single contact person because he will get a BIG HEADACHE in sorting his mails..

Macam dejavu pulak bila cerita pasal breastfeeding ni.
Semalam, tiba-tiba dapat SMS from Kak S:

+ slm. limau, aritu amni tak isap susu badan, kan.. susu limau kuar tak? pam bg kat amni atau mkn ubat bg takda susu

Terus lepas makan dinner, aku call kak S. Rupanya dia pun jadi masalah nak breastfeed kan babynya. Hospital bagi susu botol masa first day. Kalau dah diintroducekan botol masa tu, memang baby dah taknak try menghisap susu badan sebab lambat. Sedih jugak, [cam kes aku la] bila anak menangis, menitik-nitik air susu keluar. Mak memang nak bagi kat anak, tapi dua-dua (in this case, mom and daughter) tak reti. So, doktor suggestkan kat Kak S supaya makan ubat untuk berhentikan susu badan. Aku pesan kat dia thru SMS:
+ mama, don't give up. pam dan bagi. banyak khasiat.

Aku minta dia aim bagi sekurang-kurangnya sebulan. So macam kes aku ni, memang anak tak nak cuba [suspect: Amni diajar minum susu pakai botol di hospital].

Caza, kat Malaysia ni kena tengok which hospital yang encourage breastfeed. Boleh dibilang dengan jari, tak banyak. Kat oversea, memang digalakkan, tapi terkena pula masa kat hospital tempat aku bersalin, kitaorang tak diajar macam mana nak breastfeed. Aku siap kena tanya misi yang hantar anak aku, berapa banyak anak aku minum susu botol dan berapa kerap. Tapi Caza, hopefully, masa dapat anak, you can encourage breastfeeding. And hey, memang pun kalau nak encourage breastfeed, kena bagi terus lepas bersalin [tapi cam case aku, lambat sikit sebab Ceaser] dan kena ingat first thing to be inside the baby's mouth, itulah yang baby akan rasa paling ni'mat.

Never feel guilty.

Amin.

When Baiti mentioned her 'Illiyin Aufa is also being bottle feeded, that calms me.. a lot. Thanks Baiti!

I think first time moms do have problems when it comes to breastfeeding because we are first timers. Amni was only breastfeeded for 2 weeks only [I have to pump the milk] because she didn't even want to try. I didn't know that the first thing that we have to do to encourage breastfeeding is to give it straight away after delivery. I did cried a lot when I couldn't breastfed her even in the hospital.

Well, maybe Aini will have a better luck. And hopefully, maybe I will have a better luck with the next baby

Saw Homeless to Harvard on the Hallmark Channel again. The story was really inspiring.

The plot outline goes on like this:
Based on a true story. Liz Murray is a young girl who is taken care of by her loving, but drug-addicted parents. Liz becomes homeless at 15 and after a tragedy comes upon her, she begins her work to finish high school.

And she won the New York Times scholarship to go to Harvard.. yes! By the way, the true story was in year 2003 ;)

Hello Alang.. long time you haven't drop a line.

Last Saturday, went to Pureen's warehouse sale. Bought 2 packs of Pureen Basic S 75 for Amni. Save RM 5 per pack, that's quiet a lot actually! My husband bought a baby's teether for Amni and guess what design did he pick for our daughter? A FOOT! Oh my, poor baby.. a foot in my girl's mouth.. That's quiet funny. Actually, there are other designs such as car or milk bottle, but my husband preferred that particular design

Went to Munirah's wedding yesterday. Her stepmother is my aunt. She married Munirah's father (and share his 6 children along). So that's quiet an addittion after she married. We got 6 instant cousins. Munirah is the same age as me. And basically, as not to complicate matter further.. she is my cousin. Not sure whether she will be tagging along with her husband to Germany.

Amni increases her milk intake from 3 to 3 1/2 ounce [gasp] My baby is growing.. tsk.. tsk...

What is the difference betwen Malay boss and Chinese boss? A lot actually. I am not too proud to admit, that Malay boss treat other Malays as rubbish [as in my case, as their own kuli batak clerk] but Chinese boss know and is aware of what they are doing. I think that in a company that majority of them are Malays, the Chinese will go to another great length to show their worth. With the Malay bosses, I feel like they are treating me like I am not their equal, but as for Chinese bosses, they treat me as an equal, where our comments and suggestion were appreciated.

I did report to a GM before in UK. But that old GM, during his tenure, never ever called me to discuss about the company. Only when he was called back, did he called us to ask about his entitlement to go to Paris. [blah, so much about the hype of running a company in UK]

+ Hai, orang Melayu kita memang macam ni, kaut duit syarikat untuk kegunaan sendiri boleh pula. We are just too pampered, until we didn't know how to handle personal business and the company's business.

Today is the day of meeting for TMBEA 4: Subsystem Process... bosan bosan dan bosan. Have to rush up everything by next Monday. If they ask me about TMRO, for sure I can answer the payment procedure. But I have to memorised every single process flow in GB. Drats again!

Went to Ampang Puteri yesterday.

Doc: Dah buat pap smear ke belum?
Aku: Belum
Doc: Ok, timing bagus for pap smear [sambil pasang lampu suluh dengan keluarkan playar khas]

+Alamak, apsal tunjuk kat aku ni. Cam nak pengsan tengok alat yang die nak masukkan.

Doc: Ok, duduk macam you bersalin hari tu.
Aku: [Ternganga]
Doc: Opss.. lupa, you Ceaser kan? Ok, takpe, nanti I ajar. Jangan takut, relax.

+Alamak, cuaknya

Doc: Relax, memang sakit. I masukkan tiub dalam pintu rahim you [sambil tunjukkan playar dengan tiub panjang. Lampu suluh pun dah panjang]
Doc: Ok, relax, relax... [in minutes] Done!

+Mak oi, sakitnya pap smear. Tapi sakit bersalin lagi pedih, hehehe..

Another week of work to endure.. gosh, I really hate the work..
Have an appointment with Dr Fauziah tomorrow at Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital for pap smear. My friend said it hurts to do a pap smear.. but giving birth is much more painful.. aiyarkk..
Amni was well.. I don't know why she is so nice? Even when she already answers the nature's call, she didn't even cry to indicate she has finished doing her business.. Hahah. Just came back from Malacca yesterday.

Don't have much to write except about Amni. She sleeps on the sofa yesterday because she cried when I put her down on a big pillow.

Do filing last Saturday... at last, my table is just so clean.. it sparkles.. heheheh
