".. No amount of guilt can change the past & no amount of worrying can change the future. Go easy on yourself, for the outcome of all affairs is determined by Allah's decree. If something is meant to go elsewhere, it will never come your way, but if it is yours by destiny, from you it cannot flee .." (Umar Al-khatab r.a)

Masya' Allah.

And this week is like a roller coaster ride. Wait till Friday, Aida, when you start working :P

Tengahari tadi sudah marah-marah Fawwaz. Memang balik ni, dah jadi tak sabar pula dengan anak-anak. Sebabnya kecil sangat, kerja sekolah dia tak siap. Astagfirullah, astagfirullah.. Sebelum dia ke sekolah tadi, ibu minta maaf. Dia pun angguk, diam. Aduh kasihannya anak terunaku :|

Ya Allah, Kau sabarkanlah hambaMu ini.

Dapat kata-kata ini daripada bapa saudaraku ketika sepupuku mengumumkan keputusan SPMnya semalam;

Mesti pergi sebab tak tahu lagi bila nak jumpa Azie & Nazz. Lama dah dok cakap nak melawat untuk kali terakhir, tapi dok tung tang tung tang.

Sebelum pergi, pos segala barang-barang dulu. :D. Ok dok diam-diam ye dik.

Pagi Isnin, telefon Azie cakap nak ke Colchester. Siap singgah Wing Yip sebab Azie minta belikan santan cap Chokoh (brand Thailand). Hah, dua dozen lagi beli. Member tu kalau nak beli kena pergi London. Mode of transportation diaorang pun basikal jer, huhu, berjimat cermat kawan aku sorang ni, dari dulu lagi. Sesuai ler tu dia dengan Nazz.

Petang Isnin dah sampai Colchester, apa lagi taram makan nasi dengan tengok filem Hong Kong. Missnya....

Hari Selasa, ingat nak pergi Ipswich sebab dok kempen-kempen kat Fahri ajak pergi zoo dia kata taknak. Punyalah penat Auntie Azie kempen suruh pergi, hahah.. Last-last, decide pergi Ipswich masa naik kereta.

Sampai-sampai kat zoo, teruja betul Fahri.

Ambil gambar depan rangka ikan terbesar, Piracuru.

Anak-anak monyet.

Replika tortoise. Muka Fahri sama cam ibunya tak? Ngeeee :D

Mari mengukur ketinggian gajah :D

Overall, memang worth sangat-sangat pergi zoo. Banyak bahagian, seperti Wild of Asia, Africa, Antartica. Tu pun banyak skip-skip. Kami beli makanan siap-siap kat Tesco sebelum masuk zoo, maklumlah, makanan kat dalam mestilah lagi mahal kan.

Hari Rabu, selepas Zohor, kami bertolak balik ke Manchester. Thanks Azie & Nazz for being an excellent host.

Singgah rumah Kim & Qamar untuk makan-makan.

Terima kasih adik-adikku. Insya Allah kita jumpa di Malaysia.

Ladies Outing

I can't remember when was the last time I had such a fun ladies' outing. Entah bila la, kalau tak ladies outing with the Gang of 4 yang kurindui.

And we went for a Laser Quest War!
We had a blast even though the session was only 25 minutes. Wish my kids were here to enjoy themselves.

The funny part was, when I was BUSY shooting the enemies (the red team) and this British guy, who is in my team was chatting with me asking whether I had fun or not. And then I said to him, "I have been playing this for 5 minutes but I am already flat!" with my laser gun still shooting non-stop to the enemy.

And this is what I get for my farewell, a laser war with the ladies.

Ok geng of 4, balik ni kena build up stamina. Kita main laser quest!

Milo cake

Diubah suai dari Hershey's "Perfectly Chocolate" Chocolate Cake
It was a hit with my friends.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour (I use 1 cup all purpose flour and 3/4 self raising flour)
  • 3/4 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa (I use Milo, hence the name: Milo cake)
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons baking powder (I omit this)
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda (I also omit this, but based on review, if you have to use the baking soda, use 1/2 teaspoon only to ensure the cake does not explode inside the oven)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • "PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE" CHOCOLATE FROSTING (recipe follows)
Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and flour two 9-inch round baking pans.

  2. Stir together sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Add eggs, milk, oil and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes. Stir in boiling water (batter will be thin). Pour batter into prepared pans.

  3. Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. Frost with "PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE" CHOCOLATE FROSTING. 10 to 12 servings.

    VARIATIONS:
ONE-PAN CAKE: Grease and flour 13x9x2-inch baking pan. Heat oven to 350° F. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 35 to 40 minutes. Cool completely. Frost.

THREE LAYER CAKE: Grease and flour three 8-inch round baking pans. Heat oven to 350°F. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pans to wire racks. Cool completely. Frost.

BUNDT CAKE: Grease and flour 12-cup Bundt pan. Heat oven to 350°F. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 50 to 55 minutes. Cool 15 minutes; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely. Frost.

CUPCAKES: Line muffin cups (2-1/2 inches in diameter) with paper bake cups. Heat oven to 350°F. Fill cups 2/3 full with batter. Bake 22 to 25 minutes. Cool completely. Frost. About 30 cupcakes.

    "PERFECTLY CHOCOLATE" CHOCOLATE FROSTING

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
2/3 cup HERSHEY'S Cocoa (again I use Milo)
3 cups powdered sugar (I substitute sugar & milk with susu pekat manis)
    1/3 cup milk
    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Melt butter. Stir in cocoa. Alternately add powdered sugar and milk, beating to spreading consistency. Add small amount additional milk, if needed. Stir in vanilla. About 2 cups frosting.

Haha, mode happy tak boleh blah

Last week's result. Muahaha.

Worldwide pass rates for ACCA exams.

And to make it clear, the pass mark for all ACCA paper is 50 %.
For example; for P4, the pass rate is 33% for Dec 2010 sitting (this means that out of 100 people sitting for the exam, 33 pass the paper)
