And when the nice doctor complimented you on looking younger..

The doctor saw my pass card and she asked 'Is that you?'
'Yes, that is me. Do I look fat?'
'Well, you look so much different than that picture.'
'I was breastfeeding back then.'

And after giving consultation, 'You should maintain as of now, you look much younger.'

Ok, thanks doctor. I should start exercising and eat clean. Nice to have a compliment from a random stranger, once in a while.

Or should I maintain that picture in the pass card?

I have been writing lesser and lesser nowadays. It has been such a long time that I took the time to write in the blog, after so many events passed in between.

It was nice to have been busy nowadays (in term of work and family), but mostly I was grateful to have a time out with my family to do umrah in November. It was a surreal experience, not to say the least, uplifting and wonderful. To be able to escape the hustle and bustle of duniawi (literally speaking), I find it boosted my spiritual.

Anyhow, I am trying to recharge my spiritual energy with the Creator. I have been busy with my life that I forgot to say thank you to Allah for many times. Alhamdulillah, I find that I miss usrah and meeting my usrah friends, thus I have been looking forward meeting them and reengaging, talking about building the bridge and expanding the knowledge for Jannah.

I have come to an age that usrah is something that I cherished most, and right now, finding time to tune spiritually is something that I seek.

I have always make a du'a that my kids will be succesful in akhirat.

Anyway, being with my family has been the happiest. Even I am tired at the end of the day, I am always grateful to be back home with my family.

Yes, this post sounds cheesy. But I miss my husband last two weeks when he was outstation. It has been a really busy week, alhamdulillah my children were coping well when he was not around last time.
