As advised by doctor, for a person with tendency of high BP

The patient should not focus on HIIT and upper body weight workout (with weights).

She / he should not have heart rate of more than 140 during exercise.

Focus on aerobic, low impact exercise and yoga.

Well, since my change to a healthier lifestyle with Shaklee, I have been exercising 5 times a week. And I also have add on weight training. HIIT is always done on weekly basis.

Guess I have to slow down and target for every alternate days. Since I am not focusing on weight loss anymore, I can exercise 150 minutes/ week.

For person aiming for weight loss, a total of 300 minutes per week on exercise is needed.

19.7.2017

Dimasukkan ke hospital pada 19 Julai disebabkan tekanan darah yang tinggi. Semalaman di hospital.

Ramai orang menyangkal bahawa walaupun saya sudah eat clean, bersenam dan makan vitamin / supplements masih lagi sakit.

I was given a clean bill of health by attending physician. ECG clear, air kencing clear, buah pinggang OK, jantung OK (yes I did an X-ray and ultrasound to eliminate all possibilities). Dan kolesterol saya cantik.

Doktor cakap saya fit dan rule out internal factors. No one is smoking at home, dan saya makan secara sihat.

Hence, this is due to external factors. Saya mengaku bahawa kerja pejabat agak luar biasa banyaknya. Ibu dan kakak saya mempunyai tekanan darah tinggi.

Doktor menyatakan, dengan keadaan sebegini, walaupun saya sudah melakukan yang terbaik, tetapi disebabkan faktor luaran serta faktor keturunan, maka saya perlu membuat pengawasan darah tinggi saya.

Penerangan lanjut daripada doktor, mereka yang mempunyai berat badan yang berlebihan dan tidak menjaga makan lebih mudah untuk tekanan darah tinggi di luar kawalan.

Seterusnya, suami ada bertanya sekiranya Shaklee yang saya makan menyebabkab saya darah tinggi. The doctor refuted the claims, saying there is no evidence of it contributing to my high BP.

Jadi, janganlah pula kecewa bila ada orang sudah jaga makan, sudah bersenam, ambil supplements lagi boleh sakit juga.

Dulu kolesterol saya terlebih-lebih dari borderline, zaman belum cakna tentang ilmu kesihatan. Ujian kencing pun doktor cakap kena minum air kosong banyak sebab keruh.

Saya sudah cuba yang terbaik untuk diri sendiri. Sakit ni Allah bagi. Kita usaha. Kalau saya tidak usaha, gamaknya lagilah banyak penyakit saya kena.
